Before you install, confirm your computer (and server, for multi-user) meets the requirements — 64-bit Windows 11 or 10, enough RAM and disk space, and a current setup. Use the download link delivered with your purchase to run the Enterprise installer. The guided wizard walks you through accepting the license, choosing an install type (single-user or multi-user), and completing the installation. For multi-user, install the full program on each workstation.
Enter your license and product numbers to activate Enterprise online — this confirms your subscription with Intuit. Your account and products are managed through Intuit’s CAMPS portal (Customer Account Management Portal), where you can view your license info and download links any time.
Start a new company file with the Setup wizard, or open an existing QuickBooks Pro, Premier, or earlier Enterprise file — Enterprise converts it automatically, bringing your data forward. Choose your industry edition during setup so your chart of accounts and reports fit your business.
If multiple people will use Enterprise, host the company file on a server or dedicated host PC and install the QuickBooks Database Server Manager there. Turn on multi-user hosting, and each workstation connects to the shared file over your network so the whole team works in one place.
