What’s the difference between QuickBooks Desktop Premier and Desktop Premier Plus ?

QuickBooks Desktop Premier is a software license supported for 3 years. After the license term expires, it will no longer support services like payroll, payments, bank feeds, security patches or feature updates.

QuickBooks Desktop Premier Plus is priced as an annual subscription fee. It includes everything in Desktop Premier, with additional services including unlimited support, security updates, new feature upgrades, and data backups, when available.

Will QuickBooks Desktop Premier integrate with my other software?

You can transfer data into QuickBooks Desktop Premier from select versions of Quicken, Microsoft Excel, Office 365, and QuickBooks Mac. You can e-mail estimates, invoices and other forms with Microsoft Outlook 2010 SP2-2016, Microsoft Outlook with Office 365, Gmail™, Outlook.com®, and other SMTP-supporting e-mail clients. You can also integrate data from QuickBooks POS 12.0 or 18.0 with QuickBooks Desktop Premier. Integration with Shopify, Square, and other applications requires remote hosting subscription or QuickBooks Online.

Is customer support included with Desktop Premier?

Absolutely Yes! Technical support is included (issues such as installation). Unlimited customer support (usage support such as how to generate reports, etc) is included with a Desktop Pro Plus subscription. If you purchase Desktop Pro, you may add an Annual Care Plan.

Can I install QuickBooks Desktop Premier on more than one computer?

Yes. Your license allows for up to five users/computers. 1-user license would allow you to open QuickBooks on 1 computer. 2-user license would allow you to open QuickBooks simultaneously on two computers. 3-user license would allow you to open QuickBooks on three computers simultaneously and so on. If you require more than five users, consider using QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise which is capable of having up to 30 users.

What's the difference in capacity between Pro, Premier and Enterprise?

Desktop Pro and Premier each track up to 14,500 customers, vendors, and items, while Enterprise tracks up to 1 million customers, vendors and items. QuickBooks Enterprise also scales up to 30 users with varying roles and permissions.
